Top 5 photo applications

A lot of people like taking pictures on their Smartphones. And I especially love the concept of having my camera right in my phone because I’m not one who enjoys lugging around a big DSLR everyday just to take pictures. It’s safe to say that the use of camera in the phone is on the rise.

So I guess it makes perfect sense for android phone developers to create better camera phones year after year. And on top of that, applications developers are also putting out a lot of photo applications in the market.

But among the hundreds of applications available to us, how will we know which ones work the best?

Let me help you out with my suggestions of the top 5 photo applications.

Top 5 photo applications

1.) Aviary

Great and powerful photo editing application even for beginners, it offers editing options on your pictures through one-touch enhancing tools.

Aviary also has cosmetic tools to cover up blemishes in your photos or even remove red eye. This is a perfect app for image correction.

2.) Snapseed

Snapseed is one of the very first apps I downloaded when I started taking pictures from my camera phone. This app feels professional in the way that it transforms your photos by fine tuning image features. One of the cool features of the applications is its auto correct tool that enhances the exposure, colours and contrast all in one tap. But if you wish you can also use the tool Selective adjust for editing specific areas of the photo.

3.) Photogrid

I got introduced to Photogrid when I started using Instagram. Photogrid works by adjusting the size of your photo to better fit your social network staples. Aside from that, Photogrid also has great templates for creating collages with the photos you take.

4.) Befunky

Can’t figure out which effects to use or how you want to tone your photo? Why not make something of your own by combining effects?  And the only app that allows you to do that is Befunky. Befunky also provides a bunch of really cool photo frames that you won’t find in any other app.

5.) VSCO Cam

It’s kind of like Photoshop on your phone with the amounts of tools to fully customize your photos layout and quality. VSCO also has their own photo community for you to share your pictures as well as get tips from other VSCO users.
