  3. Tap on the build number 7 times. And voila, you just opened the developer options. Who knew becoming a developer was this easy.

2.) Bring your animation options down.

Once you get into your developer options you would see that there are z whole lot more options for your phone that you would have never had access to if you didn’t find out this secret. Now aren’t you glad we told you?

The next thing you do is go to the options for animations, usually found under the drawing sub menus. Under the menu would be three animation options.

  • Window animation scale
  • Transition animation scale
  • Animation duration scale

These three options basically control the graphics of your screen popping up or switching or zooming in and out. Once you tap on them, you would find that it’s all set in 1x animation capacity. Just check the .5x options and you can instantly feel your phone becoming smoother.

So there you go, a simple tweak to help get you a faster phone. Don’t worry, you won’t miss the animation that much.
