Brought to you by the ever popular Apple, the Worldwide Developers Conference is back this year bringing the buzz all around us. Every year the WWDC is very tight lipped and super secretive all the way up to the presentation of all of the big reveals, or as the Worldwide Developers Conference likes to call them, “keynotes.”

Even all of the banners and signage is sheathed in large black clothes, making everyone anxious to see what the keynotes have in store for us. What does the conference say about all the mystery? Well, only that this is “the week we all have been waiting for.”

Starting today and going all week long in sunny San Francisco, the Worldwide Developers Conference is set to release some pretty big stuff; rumors are we will be seeing their new operating system, iOS 6, the new MacBook Pro line (which will include their new Retina display and Ivy Bridge processors) and the long awaited Mac Pro tower.

Bigger and Better

Those are just the tip of the ice berg; think about what they have been able to keep from leaking out. How big is this conference really? The 5,000 tickets that are available for the conference sold out in less than 2 hours. Of those 5,000 tickets, there are people from over 60 different countries in attendance at WWDC this year. They get to attend and peruse over 112 sessions and 125 different labs.

Still thinking “psh, big deal, that’s nothing,”? Apple is also providing attendees with over 1,000 Apple engineers for every coding need and question they could possibly think of. How did they make that possible? They closed Apple down for this whole entire week for the WWDC.

What We Know So Far

So here is what we know so far, this is only the first day of the Worldwide Developers Conference and we are not even half way through, but we have gotten a good dose of what’s in store for us the rest of the week.

So far we still have no word on the 17” Macbook Pro, there has been nothing on the press release or on stage of the WWDC, could this really be the end of the Macbook Pro 17”? It looks to be so.
The Macbook Air looks like it’s going to be taking a little pricing break, seeing the newer models going down about a hundred dollars. Facebook will be integrating into the iO6, making Facebook apps easier for you to keep up to date on all the latest Facebook drama.

The Mountain Lion will be on the hunt soon. It has been released that the newest Mac Operating System, the Mountain Lion will be available in the Apple store next month. Siri, looks to be getting a little bit smarter, Apple has made her able to answer more of your questions in more languages than ever before.

Also, it appears that Siri will be going mobile; Siri will be paired with the new Apple Map App to provide some detailed turn by turn navigation and to make it all the better, Siri will also give you traffic and incident reports.

We are not even through the first day of the conference and the 23rd WWDC is shaping up to be one of the best WWDC’s we have seen in the history of WWDC. So Apple lovers and Mac believers you can start rejoicing now, because the Worldwide Developers Conference is looking to have some big and exciting things coming our way. We’ll be sharing this news as it comes out, so be sure to come back tomorrow for a look at what Apple has for us!
