Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of the best selling games on the PS3. Gamers can’t get enough of Solid Snake an a new update is going to force gamers to dust off their copy and go back into it: Trophy support. Adding trophy support is one of the billion ways that developers have kept gamers coming back for more. The only caveat to the trophy support (aside from having to replay the game to get trophies) is that it is only for Japan…at least so far. On top of the trophy support series creator Hideo Kojima has stated that he will be making an announcement at a twenty fifth anniversary event in honor of the series. He has stated that the announcement is in regards to a future game project. While it is not clear whether or not his is linked to the Metal Gear franchise, it is still an interesting development.
